Event childcare

Trusted childcare for the moments when everyone should be able to enjoy the occasion.

Made for weddings, welcome anywhere

A wedding is a long, big-feelings day, and small children experience all of it. An event nanny means the children stay part of the celebration — looked after, entertained and settled — while parents actually get to be guests.

The same goes for parties and family occasions: dependable childcare, there in the background, so the adults can relax and the children have their own good time.

Event childcare can often be arranged beyond our usual service area.

The people looking after the children

Childcare only works when the trust is absolute, so this part is not flexible.

Enhanced DBS checks

Every nanny Ashchild sends holds a current enhanced DBS check — before the event, not after the question.

Paediatric first aid

Nannies hold current paediatric first-aid certificates.

Safeguarding

Current safeguarding credentials, and clear expectations about how the day is run.

Insured

Public liability insurance appropriate to childcare, in place before the event.

Sensible numbers

How many nannies your event needs depends on the number and ages of the children. We agree it with you when we talk the day through — never more children than can genuinely be looked after.

Discussed properly, never booked blind

  1. Tell us about your event

The date, the venue, the hours, and the number and ages of the children.

  2. We talk it through

Every event is different, so we discuss what the day looks like and what the children will need before anything is confirmed.

  3. Childcare, arranged around the occasion

We match nannies to your event and agree the arrangements with you directly.

Tell us about your event

Every event is discussed individually — tell us the day, the place and the children, and we'll talk the rest through with you.

A member of the Ashchild team will be in touch within one working day.
